A sculptural ring with a strong, circular form, measuring approximately 15 cm around its outer contour and rising 2 cm in height.

R019a | AURORA refers to Aurora, one of twelve paintings by Artemisia Gentileschi that have disappeared from public view.
Rather than reproducing the painting, the Conversation Piece makes its absence visible. The unique ID and QR code reconnect the physical object to the missing artwork and open a wider exploration of Artemisia Gentileschi's work, history and artistic legacy through BEYOND THE FREEPORT.
Inspired by Christina of Lorraine, an early patron connected to Artemisia Gentileschi, the project links historical patronage to a contemporary idea of shared cultural responsibility.
Four centuries later, IN CIRCULATION invites a new generation of Guardian Angels to continue that tradition — not through ownership, but by keeping art, its history and the conversation around it in circulation.
