IN CIRCULATION introduces a different relationship with fashion, design and ownership. Rather than purchasing a Conversation Piece, you can enjoy wearing it for a year, share its story and pass it on.

Every Conversation Piece carries a unique ID and QR code connecting it to an artwork that has disappeared from public view. Through BEYOND THE FREEPORT, these artworks and their histories become accessible again in an immersive environment.

As a Guardian Angel, you help keep design, art and cultural memory in circulation.

1. CHOOSE YOUR CONVERSATION PIECE

Every Conversation Piece is available for €100 for one year, regardless of its individual value.

For example:

Object Value: €645
One-Year Circulation Fee: €100

The €100 is a usage fee, not a deposit. The piece remains the property of the atelier.

After ordering, the atelier contacts you personally to confirm the details and arrange the agreement before shipping.

2. WEAR IT. SHARE ITS STORY.

Enjoy your Conversation Piece for up to twelve months.

Wear it, introduce others to the artwork and its history, and become part of a growing circulation of design and cultural memory.

There is no obligation to promote the collection or find a buyer.

3. RETURN OR SHARE & SELL

During your year, you have two options.

RETURN

Return your Conversation Piece to the atelier within twelve months so someone else can enjoy it.

The atelier pays for the original shipping from the Netherlands or Italy. You pay for the return shipment to the address provided by the atelier.

SHARE & SELL

Found someone who would love to own your Conversation Piece?

Introduce them to the atelier. The piece can only be purchased through the atelier at its stated Object Value, without discounts.

Example: Object Value €645

New Buyer Pays: €645
Guardian Angel Receives: €322.50 (50%)
Atelier Receives: €322.50 (50%)

The atelier handles the payment and transfer.

4. KEEP CIRCULATING

You don't have to wait a full year.

If you introduce a buyer after just a few months, you can immediately choose another available Conversation Piece for €100.

Every new piece begins a new one-year circulation.

5. A FEW SIMPLE AGREEMENTS

Treat your Conversation Piece with care. Normal signs of wear are part of its journey.

If something is damaged or lost, contact the atelier so we can find a reasonable solution.

Each circulation is confirmed through a short personal agreement before shipping. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
