Collaborations

Post-Colonial Gold is conceived to move across different contexts — from immersive environments to curated retail, museum shops and institutional spaces.

The wearable sculptures function as portable works with a digital interface, allowing the project to translate into various settings without losing its conceptual integrity. Each presentation is approached as a collaboration, where context, audience and spatial experience shape how the work is encountered.

The collection can be presented as a cohesive system, a more intuitive selection or a custom-made collection, depending on the space. Flexible formats — including exhibition, retail or hybrid models — are possible.

A key aspect of the project is its movement into the public domain. Through concept stores and museum shops, the work shifts into the street — worn, visible and in direct relation to its surroundings. In doing so, the dialogue with female artistic knowledge is taken out of the institutional context and made visible again in public space.

Because the objects are developed locally, by hand and on a small scale, quantities, materials and price points can be adjusted in dialogue with each context.
