Collaborations.
Post-Colonial Gold is conceived to move across different contexts — from immersive environments to curated retail and institutional spaces.
The wearable sculptures function as portable works, allowing the project to translate into various settings without losing its conceptual integrity. Each presentation is approached as a collaboration, where context, audience and spatial experience shape how the work is encountered.
The collection can be presented as a cohesive system or as a more intuitive selection, depending on the space. Flexible formats — including exhibition, retail or hybrid models — are possible.
A key aspect of the project is its movement into the public domain. Through concept stores and museum shops, the work shifts into the street — worn, visible and in direct relation to its surroundings. In doing so, the dialogue with female artists from art history is also taken out of the institutional context and made visible again in the public space.
