A pair of sculptural earrings, each composed of three blue-and-white ceramic fragments, individually set within hand-finished gold-toned forms and suspended vertically beneath one another.
The irregular contours, visible ceramic patterns and different scales of the fragments create a strong descending composition. At approximately 14 cm in length, each earring has the presence of a small suspended sculpture.
Part of an androgynous collection, the earrings are designed to move freely across conventional distinctions of gender, style and dress.
Their unique ID and QR code connect the objects directly to an artwork and the history surrounding it.
