A sculptural brooch built around a 10 cm ceramic element, extended by a piece of silk scarf and a slender strip of rubber carrying individually handmade beads.
Together, the contrasting materials form a vertical composition measuring approximately 50 cm in total length. The rigid ceramic element, the movement of the silk and the rhythm of the beads give the piece a distinct physical presence as it moves with the wearer.
The brooch is secured with a pin fastening and can be worn on jackets, coats, tailoring or other garments.
Part of a genderless and ageless collection, the piece is designed to move freely across conventional distinctions of age, gender and style.
