Two painted ceramic fragments transformed into magnetic brooches.
The fragments carry traces of another object, another function and another history. Removed from their original context, they are given a new function as wearable objects.
The imagery refers to porcelain, trade, collecting, domestic culture and the movement of objects between cultures and owners.
Within Post-Colonial Gold, value is created through revaluation rather than precious material. The work questions how cultural objects are collected, owned, preserved and made visible.
These Conversation Pieces are part of the Capsule Collection, launched during Milan Fashion Week 2026.
