Description
This piece is part of a series of unique, handcrafted works, each shaped through an intuitive process and carrying its own distinct character.

The form is dark, compact, and almost volcanic in nature. Its surface appears burned and fractured, as if formed under extreme conditions—compressed, heated, and then solidified. It carries the traces of pressure and transformation rather than refinement.

Within this dense mass lies a core of silver, partially visible yet largely enclosed. The metal does not present itself as ornament, but as something held—extracted and contained within matter.

The work refers to the Post-Colonial Gold (PCGPUD) series, in which precious metals are questioned in relation to extraction, power, and history. In this form, that tension becomes tangible—not as shine, but as a concentrated presence under pressure.

An object that holds both physical and historical weight—dark, contained, and intensely charged.
