This piece is part of a series of unique, handcrafted works, each shaped through an intuitive process and carrying its own distinct character.

The form is compact and almost monolithic, with a matte, pale surface that holds a quiet intensity. Fine traces and markings remain visible, as if the material has both resisted and yielded over time.

At its center lies a small, recessed fragment of blue-and-white porcelain. This inner element refers to a post-colonial past—its presence both contained and persistent. It is not fully revealed, but partially concealed, suggesting something held within, something that does not entirely disclose itself.

The work forms part of the Post-Colonial Gold (PCGPUD) series, in which gold and material are approached from their origin, detached from later associations of possession and value.
