B020g| CLEOPATRA
A pair of sculptural magnetic brooches combining blue-and-white ceramic fragments with hand-finished gold-toned composite settings.
The two pieces are deliberately different in scale and shape. Their ceramic fragments retain their individual markings and irregular contours, while the hand-formed surrounds bring them together as one visual composition.
The larger brooch measures approximately 5 × 4 cm and weighs 20 grams. The smaller measures approximately 4 × 3 cm and weighs 18 grams.
Both pieces are fitted with magnetic fastenings, allowing them to be positioned freely on clothing without a conventional pin passing through the fabric. They can be worn together, separately, vertically, horizontally or in different positions on the garment.
Designed as part of a genderless and ageless collection, the brooches are not tied to conventional distinctions of age, gender or style. They are intended to move freely between people, identities and generations.

B020a | CLEOPATRA refers to Artemisia Gentileschi’s Cleopatra, painted around 1611–1612.
Rather than reproducing the painting, the brooches translate its history into two physical fragments that can return to public space. Their separation into two independent objects creates a shifting composition: worn together they form a dialogue, while worn separately each fragment carries the reference on its own.
Their unique ID and QR code connect the wearer directly to Cleopatra and open a wider exploration of Artemisia Gentileschi’s work and artistic legacy through BEYOND THE FREEPORT — ISSUE 02.

Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume and chemical products. Store separately to prevent scratches or damage and clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
The ceramic fragments can be fragile. Surface variations, markings and irregular edges are part of the character of the objects.
When attaching or removing the brooches, separate the magnetic parts carefully rather than pulling on the ceramic or composite setting.
