The Quiet Queer

Living in the city centre Amsterdam and working in the creative industry you meet many lhbtiq+.

People who are sensitive, original and with fighting spirit.

Amsterdam was an open-minded haven for the gay community in the 80-ties 

and still is for all those people that feel different.

 

it would be great if a generation that has stood for their right to be as they are continues to be appreciated

even if they grew older and become less active and radical.

 

I just chose a super small portrait of 3x2.5 cm  

because in the world of today there is already enough screaming and an overkill of intrusive images.

My style in this project is similar to the whispering that makes people start to listen.
