The gold tone is visible, yet it does not function as a status signal. The ring is designed for daily wear. Over time, the surface may shift and soften. This change is not a defect, but part of the work.

This ring represents awareness of value — not as possession, but as choice.

Material

This ring is not made of solid gold.
It is constructed from a proprietary composite of ceramic and concrete, developed as part of the Post-Colonial Gold project.

The gold tone is applied as a surface treatment within this material language. The emphasis lies not on precious metal content, but on symbolic repositioning.

Growth Mechanism

Tricolore operates within a circular value model.

When choosing to upgrade to a more complex or higher-priced work within the series, the original purchase value remains active. The previous ring can be returned and its purchase price deducted from the new work.

Returned pieces are reabsorbed into the studio process.
