Fragments that once formed part of tableware or decorative objects are given a new function on the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe pieces are \u003cstrong\u003egenderless\u003c\/strong\u003e and are not designed for one fixed way of wearing them. They are attached with magnets and can therefore be positioned in different places on clothing. Not a traditional brooch that adapts to the garment, but an autonomous object that claims its own presence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThis is where the shift begins: the shard is neither restored nor concealed. The break, the material and its previous history remain visible. What was once part of a functional object becomes a sculptural \u003cstrong\u003eConversation Piece\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eWithin \u003cstrong\u003eFragments of History\u003c\/strong\u003e, the object goes one step further. Each piece has its own ID and QR code, turning it into a physical point of access to a digital layer. The accessory is not only worn; it can also open up information about art, heritage, ownership and public visibility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eFor this capsule, five Conversation Pieces are connected to five fragments from \u003cstrong\u003eNola Hatterman’s \u003cem\u003eOp het terras (On the Terrace)\u003c\/em\u003e, 1930\u003c\/strong\u003e, in the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. The connection is not based on reproduction: the artwork is not printed or depicted on the accessory. Instead, the object becomes an entry point to the work itself and to a wider digital environment in which dispersed, hidden and missing parts of an oeuvre can be brought back into
