CIRCULAIR BAGS
With this bag collection I draw attention to reuse and sustainability. The French phrase "Ceci n'est pas" is a nod to the famous surrealist painter René Magritte, known for his painting "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" ("This is not a pipe"). By using this phrase I am suggesting that your bags are more than just regular bags, that they represent a message of recycling and awareness The idea of making bags from discarded materials, and upcycling, this concept contributes to reducing waste and fairness of a circular economy. The bags can be called 'socially critical', so I emphasize that these bags are not only a fashion accessory, but also a critical view of our consumer society representatives. This collection not only shows style and functionality, but will also effectively create sustainability and environmental issues. This is an important step towards a more responsible fashion industry.
All of our bags are all unique and one of a kind. Dutch design, developed and produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner using production methods based on sustainability and a more and more circular economy.
Our unique bags collection were showcased in Switzerland at the "Perfectly Imperfect: Makel, Mankos und Defekte" exhibition from november 2023 to May 2024.
